THE CABALISTIC PATH

The thirteenth path joins Tiphareth - Beauty - with Kether - The Crown, and is associated with the Priestess. As we see in Illustration IV, 16, it is a vertical path, joining both spheres through a deserted realm the cabalists call 'The Abyss'.This is precisely Guimel, the camel that crossed the dessert uniting the two spheres.In the Sepher Yetzirah it is written: "The thirteenth path is called the Driving Consciousness of Unity (Sekhel Manhig HaAchdut). It received this name because it is the essence of Glory. It represents the culmination of the true essence of unified spiritual beings." |
This is the vertical ascension to the source of light. Balancing the polarities, the Being transcends physical matter, producing a fusion with the Totality.
