THERAPEUTIC READING

Current Moment  1 - 2

This is a time for withdrawal with little interest in action. It may indicate a phase of internal discovery, or difficulties in taking initiative, whether due to fear or to lack of inspiration and clear objectives.

Anchor 4

The questioner is crystallizing and extremely incredulous within a timid and intraspective attitude, incapable of sharing his/her emotions, body, and even money with others, much like the turtle constantly enclosed in its shell. This person may use a spiritual or mystical mask in order to veil his/her fear of surrender. Passiveness, resignation, apathy, and a disinterest in life may be treated with the Wild Rose floral essence. The tendency of daydreaming and the lack of interest in the present may be alleviated with the Clematis floral essence. Accompanied by the Eight of Cups - Indolence, this would indicate a state of permanent depression, though for no apparent reason, with complaints such as: "I don't know why I'm so sad". In this case, we suggest the use of Mustard floral essence.

Internal Need 7

It is important to stop, calm down, and get in touch with one's internal reality so as to pinpoint one's true desires and emotions.

Relationships 8

A) This is a phase of distancing, as the mate cuts emotional and sexual ties, and the chance of re-establishing the bond is very slim.

B) This person fears proximity and adopts a stance of superiority, of false spirituality, sometimes with a hint of aristocratic or puritan behavior. The questioner places a veil between him/herself and the world, hiding and becoming impenetrable to relationships, possibly indicating virginity. We recommend the use of the Fawn Lily** floral essence to bring about acceptance of and involvement in the world, and the Sticky Monkeyflower* essence for overcoming the fear of intimacy and sexual contact, particularly when the problem refers to a sexual relationship.

Childhood 9

The child was hampered from taking any initiative, from assuming any active or creative attitude. It suffered enormously from hearing parental admonitions such as: "Be quiet; don't touch; you're good for nothing; don't bother me; you never get it right." Thus the child felt incapable and a strong "I can't" was imprinted in its unconscious. The child's expressive and extroverted behaviors were prohibited, turning it into a rejected, annihilated, shy, and lonely being who begins to create a fantasy world, full of fairies and princes who would one day alleviate the pain. Thus this being prefers to wait and see instead of taking any initiative.

Method 5

We suggest that the questioner refrain from taking compulsive steps; rather, that he/she turn inwards, get in touch with his/her emotions, leaving aside unsatisfying activities or relationships. The Star Tulip* floral essence, also known as Cat's Ear, will help to develop feminine sensibility and receptiveness, opening up the doors of spirituality and facilitating meditation.

If this person feels drawn towards the occult sciences, we suggest that he/she cultivate studies in this domain and foster the practice of meditation. We may suggest Vipassana, in which one sits in a comfortable position, preferably with an erect spinal column, concentrating one's attention on the breathing - which should be natural and deep - letting one's thoughts go by without becoming attached to them.

Path of Growth 6

The questioner may begin a stage of more receptiveness and tranquility, now more aware of his/her emotions and desires. He/she will develop the intuition and perhaps an interest in the occult. Feeling more fulfilled and whole, this person will find internal motivations, traits, and desires that before were sought out externally.

Internal result 3

Through the path traversed up until now, the questioner is capable of regaining his/her feminine polarity. Doing away with the anxiety of separation from the self, he/she becomes a silent and meditative being aware of the rich interior world and open to life.

External Result 10

We see this person as centered and connected to him/herself, using intuition and sensitivity within, and increasing dedication towards self-knowledge and the occult sciences.
